The Salus Philosophy
Salus, at it's core, is about letting designers be designers, developers be developers, and users be users.
We feel the community- or blog-centric model of most CMS' is not a realistic reflection of common practices in a professional design environment. Salus is designed around the designer/client model; that is, a website created and administered by an experienced designer and maintained by end-users (content authors).
The designer maintains complete control over the site, and end-users can focus on content, not site maintenance and configuration.
In this way, we hope that Salus will become that content management solution of choice for small-scale professional website development.
